The Maharashtra Road Safety Cell organized a T20 cricket tournament to raise awareness about road safety. The Indian team won the series on March 21 with a spectacular win.

The series’ final match pitted India legends against Sri Lanka legends, keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats. It was a show of six-hitting at its best as the legends rolled back the days with spectacular performances. Hitting a six is indeed a tough feat. In the final match of the Master Series in Raipur, India, led by ace batsman Sachin Tendulkar, outsmarted Tillakaratne Dilshan’s Sri Lanka by 14 runs. Cricket fans flooded social media with heartfelt messages, views, funny memes, and more within minutes of India’s victory. One user described Yuvraj Singh as a “trophy collector” and posted a photo of him with the trophy. Meanwhile, team members such as Mohammad Kaif and Irfan Pathan took advantage of the opportunity to share their delight. Another group of fans, meanwhile, challenged the Australian team’s absence from the series. However, for Indian cricket fans, the joy of victory triumphed above all other feelings.

Yuvraj Singh brings back memories

Yuvraj Singh resurrected the vintage Yuvraj Singh in the Road Safety World Series final, as well as the rest of the competition. The versatile all-rounder was in sensational form throughout the tournament, putting on an exhilarating batting display. Yuvraj continued his incredible form in the Road Safety World Series final against Sri Lanka on Sunday, smashing 60 runs off 40 balls, including four boundaries and as many sixes, a knock that helped India Legends win the tournament.

Apart from a quickfire knock from Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan put up an all-round performance to help India beat Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs and win the first-ever Road Safety World Series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

India scored 181/4 in 20 overs when they were put into bat. Yuvraj Singh’s 60 off 41 balls and Yusuf Pathan’s 62 off 36 balls were key. Before that, captain Sachin Tendulkar started the scoring with a 30 off 23 results.

For India L, the respected duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Sehwag opened the innings, but Sri Lanka had already made preparations for the two. Rangana Herath bowled a superb first over, conceding just four runs. After hitting a magnificent six off Herath in the third over, Sehwag was quickly dismissed. S Badrinath, who had been out for a while due to a hamstring injury, was dismissed in the fifth over by Jayasuriya.

The innings was then anchored by a 43-run partnership between Yuvraj Singh and Tendulkar. Yuvraj, on the other hand, quickly triggered beast mode after Tendulkar had left. For the third wicket, Yusuf Pathan and his partner added 85 runs off 47 balls. In 20 overs, India reached 181/4.

Dilshan and Jayasuriya got Sri Lanka Legends off to a strong start in the chase, with the latter taking the big shots. Sri Lanka had a chance to win the game thanks to Jayasuriya’s 43 off 35, but they struggled after he was dismissed in the 12th over. Following his exit, SL L lost another wicket in Upul Tharanga, putting the visitors under pressure.

IPML to Pay Tribute to 2011 World Cup Winners

The ‘Indian Pro Music League’ will pay tribute to India’s victory in the 2011 Cricket World Cup, with Suresh Raina serving as a guest judge.

Suresh Raina, the representative of the UP Dabbangs, will be seen sharing the stage with Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra in the next episode of Indian Pro Music League. The evening’s highlight will be a commemoration of Team India’s 10th World Cup win, with strong performances from the coaches and team members of the Punjab Lions and the UP Dabbangs. Suresh Raina will reflect on a pivotal moment in his life when he felt even more proud to be an Indian, thus paying tribute to that moment and the Indian Cricket Team.

Suresh Raina said of the beautiful memory and his experience, “A win in a team sport is not just of an individual but of an entire team which comprises coaches, team members and every single person who is connected with the team. I still remember the moment when we were in our last over and everyone was praying with their heart and soul that we win this match. As soon as that happened, it was the most surreal experience for us as the entire stadium was singing ‘Vande Mataram’ with their mobile flashlights swaying in the air. That is the moment all of us had a feeling that we had truly made our country proud.”

The IMPL contestants and coaches from both teams will perform a duet to the tune of “Vande Mataram” on stage to pay tribute to the Indian team and nation. Also superstar Parineeti Chopra will be seen getting Suresh Raina’s autograph on a bat after the show. In the upcoming episode, Parineeti and Suresh will play cricket and badminton, with Parineeti scoring shots with her badminton racket and Suresh taking his famous cricketer style to the floor with his bat.
